Thankful Thursday 6.14.12

Today, I am thankful for my roses. They provide delightful bouquets of blooms for my home and give me a blissful moment each time I stop to smell them. The old saying is really true, take time to stop and smell the roses. For me, they remind me to slow down, enjoy the moment and realize the beauty in the natural world, a beauty I am a part of.

What are you thankful for today?
Cheers, Jenni

  1. Jenni, roses do the same for me. They also bring me memories of my Mother and Grandmother who grew roses.

  6. Your roses are gorgeous, Jenni! Thankfulness for renewed health & energy, abundant love & friendship, creative inspiration, yellow swallowtail sightings in our garden this week, sweet blueberries from Farmers Market & this morning's big wake-up hug from my daughter (instead of the typical groan!)

  7. Really pretty roses. I was thankful to get a dry day over the weekend to garden. Back to rain today but that's what makes Ireland green :)

  8. Hi Jenni, On my desk, I've got a bouquet of pink 'Gertie Jekyll' and 'Sofie' roses with sprigs of honeysuckle and jasmine. Who needs Glade air freshener with scents like these? Yep. I'm thankful for roses too...and a nose to smell them. Yours are lovely!

  9. Hi Jenni; Beautiful roses! My "air freshener" of choice is Basil, which I grow indoors. I often rub a leaf of it just to release its smell.
