Happy Sunday Full of Flowers and Football

I'm slurping my morning gallon of coffee while enjoying some English Premiership League soccer matches on the tele. I'm an avid viewer and today, teams are fighting against relegation, making for dramatic finishes. Last night the husband unit and I actually had a date! and ventured into Portland, Oregon to catch a live soccer match of our beloved Portland Timbers (who won, thank you!)

Soccer and Gardening.  What more could you ask for in life?

We had some sunshine the past few days that brought out my clematis. I'm unsure of the variety as it was here when we bought the home years ago. Suggestions?
If you look closely there is a sneaky owl peeking out of the clematis

An Amazing sight of Blue sky behind the blooms.
Wishing you a Happy Sunday ~ Cheers, Jenni

  4. Oh my gosh that is beautiful! You said it was bursting. Wonderful. I was thinking of you this morning while I was wandering around my garden in the rain with a cup of coffee. Glad the skies are blue there. Thanks for sitting on my porch for a spell. I always look forward to your comments. And yes I had my camoflage muck boots on.

  6. Glad you're having great weather. I've seen many pictures of Portland on flickr. (I have a flickr.com contact from there and he takes many great photos of the city and candids of the wonderful street vendors! I even know about the 'Keep Portland Weird' sign!) It looks like a really dynamic place to live.

  7. Hi Jenni, Yes your Clemmy is a beauty. It's one I've always wanted because of its pink color. I want to say 'Canarby' but I don't think that's right. Something like that... anyway, the blue sky is always a plus!

  10. I love clematis and yours has a really pretty flower, not sure what it is. The owl looks real, I had to look at it a few times but figure it would be rare for an owl to be perched there during the day lol. Kelli.

  11. This year, I swear, I will plant a clematis. I say that every year when I see the vines in full bloom and then I forget to do it. I have no idea what yours is called, but it is beautiful.

  12. Oh dear, I haven't a clue about English football. Or Scottish either! Glad the matches were exciting, tho. My Dad is an avid football watcher, and has complained about some very boring matches recently.
