Happy September 1st and a Giveaway

It's a brisk morning here in the Northwest Oregon, with an overcast sky.  Rumors of warmth from the TV weatherman for the weekend...hmmm, hard to imagine right now as I sip coffee and snuggle under a blanket, but it would be welcome to help get the rest of my tomatoes ripe!

To celebrate September and all the craziness that the start of the school year brings (running our kids around to practices and extra trips to the grocery store (surely it's not just me who forgot a few things on the school supply list? :)) here's a give-away to have a little bit of fun for us!

A pair of pretty Mahogany Maple Leaf earrings, handmade by me. I think they are perfect for the season :)

If you would like to be considered for the give-away, please leave a comment on this post with a way for me to notify you if you're the lucky winner.  That's it.  I will draw a winner and announce it next week on September 8th.  Good Luck!  I hope this is a fun diversion for everyone and maybe having a give away each month from my jewelry shop might be a fun idea~

Cheers, Jenni

  2. LOVE the earrings, they are really pretty.
    They are talking about us hitting close to 80 here too. I sure hope we get some red tomatoes. After you mentioned roasting cherry tomatoes recently I tried some too and put them in pasta. So good, thanks for the idea!

  3. My tomatoes were blighted for the 1st of September; hope you have better luck.

    Lovely as the ear-rings are, they won't suit me, so leave me out of the giveaway!!!

  5. You are a lovely artist, and these beautiful earrings remind me of my favorite poem:

    September has come, It is hers whose vitality leaps in the autumn,
    Whose nature prefers
    Trees without leaves and a fire in the fire-place;
    So I give her this month and the next
    Though the whole of my year should be hers who has rendered already
    So many of its days intolerable or perplexed
    But so many more so happy;
    Who has left a scent on my life and left my walls
    Dancing over and over with her shadow,
    Whose hair is twined in all my waterfalls
    And all of London lilttered with remembered kisses.

    I love being a part of your art and beauty that you bring to my world. You are treasured. ~K

  7. What pretty earrings! My tomatoes are just starting to ripen. So far only 2 are red. Better than last year but I did all from seed last year. I "cheated" this year and bought some tomato starts.

  8. Jenni, they are beautiful! Sorry I haven't been around much (life has been a little too busy lately), and don't anticipate another post of my own until probably next FF. Have a wonderful long weekend. (I think it's a long weekend for you, as well.)

  9. Jenni,
    Have I missed out! I'm gone for a bit and you have been crazy. I am in love with your black eyed susans! What color! I'm so impressed with your pumpkins. I have 3 little ones like that and 4 big ones. One is growing on the roof of my greenhouse. Your earrings are just perfect! Your last few posts have inspired me to believe that fall is on the cusp! Thanks for sharing.

    I love the new photo of you.

  14. Oh, I love those earrings, you are so talented and creative! I miss the lovely sugar maples that we used to have back in New England in the fall. I've been away so I'm out of touch and behind on my blog reading, I just hope I'm not too late with my comment!
